Why Choose this Product
More About the Product
A super cool beach-style house bed! This house bed will feel just like home. Designed with a roof and windows, it creates a cozy atmosphere in any children's room.
With a width of 140 cm, there's plenty of space for stuffed animals, pillows, or toys. A house-style bed provides a unique setting for your child, making every morning special as they wake up in their very own little house.
As with all our children's beds from LIFETIME Kidsrooms, you have the option to add bed drawers or a guest bed underneath.
Lacquer Info
White
The white lacquered children's furniture from LIFETIME Kidsroom is made of solid knot‑free pine wood to avoid the typical discolouration and unevenness that can occur with knots. The surface is treated with an environmentally friendly, water-based white lacquer and cured with UV light, ensuring an easy‑to‑clean and durable finish. For our white lacquered items, we use MDF for fronts, panels, doors and drawer fronts. Due to the use of different materials, slight variations in colour and pattern may occur.
Whitewash
For our children's beds in the whitewash colour, we use solid pine wood with knots for all bed components. This highlights the natural appearance of the furniture and the wood grain. The surface is treated with a water-based lacquer that contains fewer white pigments than the white lacquer, allowing the natural wood pattern to remain visible. The whitewash lacquer leaves some open pores on the surface, which may lead to normal, light discolouration over time.
If you wish to order lacquer to refresh your whitewash furniture, you are welcome to contact our service team.
Slatted Base Guide
All LIFETIME beds are tested with slatted bases or slats and are therefore only offered in this way. You can decide for yourself which quality best meets your own needs.
Standard slatted base (16 slats)
Max. recommended distributed weight: 150 kg.
16 moulded and laminated birch or beech slats that are screwed directly into the sides of the bed.

Premium slatted base (23 slats)

Deluxe slatted base (28 slats)
Max. recommended distributed weight: 200 kg.
A frame with 28 slats that are mounted in plastic caps on the sides and can move flexibly together.

How much weight can a bed carry – and can an adult sleep in it?
The maximum weight limit is determined by the slatted base. For beds with standard slats, we recommend a maximum weight of 150 kg. For beds with a deluxe slatted base or premium slats, we recommend that the maximum distributed weight of 200 kg is not exceeded. This ensures that the slats also have a long lifespan.
What is the difference between the standard slatted base and the premium slatted base?
Both slatted bases consist of moulded and laminated birch or beech slats that are screwed directly into the sides of the bed. The difference is that the standard version has 16 slats, while the premium version has 23 slats, which is why the premium slatted base can support more weight than the standard one and is ideal for floor beds.
Standard slatted base: 150 kg.
Premium slatted base: 200 kg.
Does a deluxe slatted base fit into a bed that was made for use with standard slats?
Before 2023, new bed sides had to be ordered if you wanted to switch from a deluxe to a standard slatted base. Since 2023, we have changed the bed sides so that they can be used for both options. Depending on when the bed was purchased, new bed sides may or may not be required.
Cleaning & Care
Safety Approved
LIFETIME is safe to use – it is certified!
At LIFETIME, safety is one of the responsible choices we make, and we never compromise on safety. Our children’s furniture and children’s beds comply with the strict EU requirements for children’s furniture (EN 747-2015, AfPS GS 2019:01), and we have our quality certified by TÜV SÜD. In addition, our paints and materials are approved to comply with and meet the safety and health requirements of the German Product Safety Act.
It is extremely important to us that parents and children feel safe and secure when using our children’s beds and children’s furniture. This is what we keep in mind when developing useful safety add-ons, such as additional safety guards, alternative ways of getting in and out of LIFETIME beds, or useful handrails for ladders.
From generation to generation
Our family business has always been driven by a passion for creating unique children’s beds and children’s furniture for children that invite play, learning, and sleep. LIFETIME children’s beds must therefore always be modular and have a long lifespan, while also providing the framework for healthy development for children of all ages.
We prioritize the quality of our children’s beds over quantity, with a focus on reusability and a classic, timeless look that can be adapted to different needs. As children inevitably grow, LIFETIME furniture grows with them through smart modularity and clever solutions. Our bed system withstands multiple conversions and, like our family business, can be passed down from generation to generation.
Over many years, we have learned and evolved as a company while humbly reinventing the children’s room. We have always kept our vision close to the original LIFETIME philosophy by focusing on responsible innovation and outstanding craftsmanship. Our design strives for the right balance of functionality, design, and quality in order to represent the leading brand within sustainable premium children’s furniture.
