Refund policy

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you received your item. In the case of an order comprising several items, some of which are delivered separately, the withdrawal period only begins once you are in physical possession of the last item.
If you have purchased several items from us, you may return one or more items, even if they were purchased as part of a single order.

You cannot refuse to accept delivery if you wish to cancel your purchase. You must therefore notify us of your right to cancel and return the item.

You should notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. This notification must be sent to webshop@lifetime.dk using the cancellation form, which we ask you to attach to your email. In your message to us, please let us know that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.

You may also cancel your purchase by giving clear notice and returning the goods in person to the address above.

We do not accept parcels that are not delivered to a specific address or parcels sent cash on delivery.

Returns

You must return your order to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase, unless otherwise agreed. You are responsible for the direct costs associated with returning the goods.

You bear the risk for the goods from the time of delivery.

The absence of the original packaging may result in a reduction in value. To ensure you receive a full refund, we recommend that the goods are returned in their original packaging. If we assess that the product has been damaged during the return shipment and has consequently suffered a reduction in value, we may refuse to refund the full price.

If you no longer have the original packaging, we therefore recommend that you wrap each item securely to avoid any loss of value.

Items manufactured to the consumer’s unique specifications with clear personalised features are excluded from the right of withdrawal (cannot be withdrawn or returned).

The condition of the item when you return it

You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
You are entitled to try out the goods in the same way as you would in a physical shop, but you must not put them into actual use.

If the item has been tested beyond what is described above, we will consider it to be used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a partial refund or no refund at all (depending on the item’s market value) and, in certain cases, this may mean that you will only be refunded the delivery costs.

Refund of the purchase price

If you change your mind about your purchase, you will, as a general rule, be refunded the amount you paid us. In the event of any loss of value (for which you are liable), this will be deducted from the purchase price.

If you exercise your right to cancel, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date on which we received notification of your decision to cancel this contract, or from the date on which we received any returned furniture.

We will issue the refund using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed to a different method of refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, unless you have, before then, provided evidence that you have returned them.
